She’s a Registered Nurse with over ten years of experience. She have a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She went on to further her education and obtained her Master’s degree in nursing education. Over the years as a nurse, she worked in the hospital, acute care, nursing home care, correctional facility, home healthcare, IV infusion therapy, contract nursing locally and nationwide. She’s a member of her code simulation team working with the veterans. Her passion is not only educating healthcare providers but also members of the communities.

The decision to become a CPR instructor and ultimately start this business occurred because a family member suffered a cardiac arrest that impacted her family. CPR was delayed due to a lack of knowledge in recognizing the need for and performing CPR, resulting in their death.

As a healthcare professional, CPR is essential in saving lives if recognized and started quickly. So many deaths occur in and out of the hospital setting because of a lack of knowledge of CPR or the inability to perform CPR correctly. Lastly, it should be known that everyone is essential! You do not have to be a healthcare professional to be essential. Learning how to recognize and perform CPR efficiently is the way to be essential to the community, family, and friends by saving their lives. Chest compressions are an essential way to life.
